Feeling Felt To Believe

Whatever done,
At the best of one's ability.
Driven by challenges that motivate,
A facing of obstacles.
That may or may not be there,
But one still will create.
Just to do a doing done better.
Than one had done to do to improve.
Is just the beginning,
For one never satisfied with a better to do.
Or with an effort to declare their best.
Not to know yet what that is to achieve.
Or have that felt feeling to leave believed,
One has accomplished...
A best to better do,
Worthy to accept and approve as is.

'You're in a rare good mood.
Wassup?
What's the deal?'

'Look at it.'

'I'm looking.
Okay...and...what am I looking for?'

'I added something.
Now I am ready to let it go.'

'You were offered lots of money,
For that painting years ago.
And now you say it is done?'

'Yes.
I think of it as my best work yet.'

'I told you before,
If the price is right...
The door to your refrigerator,
Will open more than it stays closed.
I see nothing.
Nothing at all that has been added,
To this painting.
Oh...you signed it!'

'And, what else?'

'Believe me.
I do not see anything else.'

'The Sun rising upon the horizon.
The glistening dew on the grass.
And on that hill in the distance?
That Oak tree once had,
500 budding leaves on those branches.
I added 10 more branches.
And 50 budding leaves.
Opening as the Sun reveals,
A slight touch of Emerald green.
I can't believe you did not notice it.'

'I can not believe I sat here and witnessed,
You turned down thousands of dollars...
Of much hungry needed to get money.
For buds of leaves on a tree.
In a distance.
Purposely painted that way.
Not to be the focus at all.
And...'

'I know.
I cried like that too.
When from nowhere,
I became overwhelmed with inspiration.'

'You turned down,
Thousands of dollars...
I saw in someone's hand.
To tell me...
This painting was still an embryo?
Needing the right time to breathe.
And then to ask me for $20 to borrow.'

'I don't understand.
Where are you taking me on this 'trip'?'

'For buds not yet to bloom.
On a tree...
I had not noticed before.
To say...
You added 10 more branches.
And 50 leaves budding.
With 500 hundred others!
And...'

'Stop crying like that.
I know.
I know...
It took me all this time to realize it too.
I had created a 'masterpiece'!
