Dark clouds and storm

Dark clouds and storm

It’s like monsoon as you see in the East
But these clouds are clamouring near me.
Nimbus and cumulous or whatever they are,
they  are deep and dark,
mysterious yet menacing,
like my deep sorrow is dark and piercing.

I look up to the heavens and search for meaning.
Why do we have to suffer anguish of bereaving,
loved ones lost for ever,
those who will return never.
These dark clouds are like monsoon
as you see in the East, or wherever.
