Remarkable Persuasion

Remarkable it is to be,
How easily we all are persuaded...
By anything to accept and believe.
If it is done convincingly.

And this only takes,
A few to debate...
Over what is true kept to delude,
What is not.
Leaving no one to object or refuse,
Of being confused.
By that which is introduced,
With a doing to change their minds.
That the reality they have known to live.
Has nothing to do with the truth of it.
And if it did...
Why have they allowed themselves,
To be persuaded to defend...
A reality to believe it.
Yet...
Are left to doubt,
There own eyes and ears...
While committing to participate,
In destroying this reality.
For another.
Rumored to hear about it.
But nowhere near them to appear!

'Okay.
Tell me this...
How do you expect me,
To accept what you say?
Without evidence or proof of it produced!'

'Good question.
Are you a Christian?'

'Of course.
What kind of stupid question,
Is that to ask?
We are here to debate reality.
Not proven myths.'

'Fine.
Do you believe in God?'

'If I am not mistaken.
We are here to discuss,
What is real to us and what is not.'

'Absolutely and I agree.
I too am a Christian and believe in God.
And...
The last time I was in conference.
To speak privately with God.
Not a face of His did I see.
But His voice to hear it.
For whatever reason,
I knew immediately it was not yours!
And that myth you say to claim proven,
Where is 'your' evidence of it?'

'Not from a voice to hear,
To use to spread such ridiculous lies!'

'Thank you.'

'For what?'

'Admitting to all of us,
Just what you are!'

'I am not a liar.'

'I didn't call you a liar.
But a hypocrite?
That would be a better topic to debate.
Leaving the outcome of it,
Left to believe...
The time wasted has been a stalemate!
And not at all remarkable to discover.
