Wait

When I was set to be
A simple, little thing
Something came along to me
That changed my way of being

It shown me amative things
That were smaller than a hair
And shown me immense things
Than just a dragon's lair

But the biggest thing it shown
Has no measurement at all
That greatest thing is love
That can break through any wall

"What is this special something?"
You ask me to explicate
I look deeply in your eyes and say
"It's you my dearest (NAME)
And forever I shall wait"

For I see that waiting
On a love that can be true
Is worth waiting an eternity for
To see that you would too
