Celebrated Differences
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
It would be great to celebrate,
Our differences.
And feel it to be a blessing,
To receive and get this opportunity.
Without suspected threats,
We create ourselves to expect...
This Earth we are conscious to inhabit,
Is not the exception.
But an experiment to distrust.
Disrespect and neglect.
With some doing their best,
To destroy it for something else to get.
As if God, The Almighty, becomes upset.
And decides what He has done,
Could be better yet to do.
Without listening to complaints,
Heard to hear from ungrateful creatures...
What it is they dislike and who!
Leaving God to realize,
Those doing nothing but criticize...
Have more time on their minds,
To do that.
But not a second of their time is given,
To thank and appreciate God...
For tolerating with patience to forgive,
The very ones incapable to learn...
This place they call Earth is their home.
And if they don't like the way it is,
Go back from where 'they' came from!
'And...
Where on Earth could that possibly be?'
'Don't ask me!
My relationship with God,
Is going to stay intact.
Those who dislike what God has done,
Seem to also be the ones...
Totally unaware,
God chose them...
To be part of the difference made.
And,
If they choose not to celebrate,
With others who participate.
I am sure God notices,
Who it is that initiates...
All the conflict, confusion and division!'
'Done to isolate and separate themselves?'
'Yep!
Making it easier for God to detect,
Where the problem is to fix it.'
'How?'
'Do you believe there is a God?'
'Well...
Sometimes, yes!'
'That 'sometimes' will become,
At 'all times' soon.
Remain to stay observant.
And any doubts you may have,
In your mind will pass.
Celebrate differences God has made.
Everything else?
Let God handle HIS or HER business!
