Fed To Feed

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Opportunists do not announced,
Themselves to be social leechers.
Deceivers, or hand biters seeking,
Upward mobility.
Fed to feed all they need to know,
About how to use others.
From head to toe.

And take them for granted.
Until they become addicted to the skills,
Of the ones gifted to fraud and dupe them.
With an ability to have it believed,
Their overwhelming self indulgence...
Is a sacrifice misunderstood,
By others who oppose...
The support shown and given from followers.

Followers,
Claiming that their bitten hands...
Had been a sign from God.
And convinced,
They were chosen and in the midst...
Of an 'angel' capable with the power,
To take truth and squeeze...
Every bit of reality out of it.
Change that truth into fiction to delude.
Then have millions thirsting,
To be drenched in it as if baptized.

'Come on. Stop the exaggerations!
This is 2021.
No one on Earth is that naive or gullible.
You should get out more.
Mingle.
Turn off the TV.
You've been watching too much of it.
