All Over Again

All Over Again 1978 (Albion, MI.)

"All Over Again"

Wake up feeling the same way again, pain and tears,
Just trying to have a place to call my own some day,
They say I should have more to show, for all these years,
They said don't do what I do, do what I say,
What a croc of shit, we all do what we see,
If we are to survive, we all need a "HIGHER POWER",
Lord, please break all these chains and set me free,
We need "His" help, ever single minute, ever single hour,
My kids call me "Superman", it's up to them if I save you girl,
Even though all this time you did nothing but lie to me,
I you just wanna hurt me, take a step back, sit on that spike and twirl,
You never showed me a damn thing, just how quickly I could pack and leave,
I am only human, I make mistakes, and you do too,
Oh what a tangled web they weave, these women who practice to deceive,
Make you learn from your mistakes, is what this life does to you,
So many times I told my myself, don't let her do it to you again,
It's gonna hurt even more this time, just walk out that door,
The struggle is real, ask me, I will tell you this really true story,
Getting so wasted on booze, to ease the pain, waking up on the floor,
You got no more wife, no more friends, suck it up, find your glory,
So, what would you do, if crazy was born in you my friend,
When the shit hits the fan in your life, "All Over Again".

All Over Again

Just a small town little guy, with a giant heart that I tend to wear on my sleeve, a bit of a prodigy, was walking, talking full, understandable sentences before eight months old, been thru a whole lot in my life mostly stressful like my second divorce that just happened, it's a lot for only being 43. more…
