HAPPINESS AGAIN

Corina H. Ramirez 1964 (San Angelo)

When my ex left me
I felt so sad and alone,
Thought I could never be happy
Boy'' was I ever wrong.
Then along you came
Was as kind as can be,
Said I'm not the blame
That my ex left me.
You said I love you
With all my heart,
Will you marry me
And will never be apart.
I'm with my husband
As happy as can be,
We're hand in hand
So everyone can see.
So now we're together
There are no more tears,
Very happy in laughter
Nine long happy years.
