Learning from Failures
I do want you to be aware,
You should not be ignorant;
About our fathers did share,
Under the cloud that they relent.
They were all under the cloud,
Moreover all passed through the sea;
While the Lord had fed the crowd,
Escaping from the slavery.
In the cloud and the sea baptized,
Into Moses as they elude;
The Lord disciplined and chastised,
When they showed a bad attitude.
All ate the same spiritual food,
They all did eat spiritual meet;
Even though they had become rude,
The Lord ensured enough to eat.
All of them drank spiritual drink,
Drinking from a spiritual Rock;
Although most of them did not think,
Their complaints continued to squawk.
They did not know the Rock was Christ,
With most of them God was not pleased;
Because carnal knowledge enticed,
A lifestyle that is diseased.
They were brought down in the wild,
As examples that had took place;
Each of them acts like a child,
But the Lord had showered His grace.
His hope they stop their desire,
Evil intent that they did lust;
That they righteously acquire,
And that their faith would build their trust.
