Forever Under

Spookier cemetery rotting under through
pristine visiting surface, of someone you knew
remembrance of times good and bad
deathly inhabited and hauntingly sad
believing their in a better place
no pain, no suffering, death did erase
the lack of friendship torn in half
wishing you were back with a tear and a laugh
peace in rest, forever you are gone
to a place of spirits, I'm occasionally drawn
the lack of earthly souls without
temporary flower placing, your return in doubt
reaching for heavens higher gate
the day you died, was gods invitational date
reborn into energy invisible light
is there seasons or day or night?
Wishfully present entity souls
your lack of being, leaving gapping holes
a tear and a smile, mixed emotions control
now you're in permanence gods side stroll
