A city in my mind

A city comes when I close my eyes
Where the road is accompanied by the trees.

Litters are welcomed in dustbin in every corner,
Being woman alone in the night is not to fear.

A helping hand is always there for helpless,
old couples enjoy ice-cream sitting on the benches.

Where children are playing on the ground,
not loosing Eye-sight with the phone in hand.
Where"old-aged home"word is absent from dictionary:
any mistake needs nothing but a word "sorry".

Where girl or boy is just for name
getting equal right, opportunity and fame.

No begging near church, mosque or temples,
No child is found working in the motels or hotels.
Where holy places hear more prayer than wall of hospital,
No more rapes, kidnapping or brutal.

Where people not asking my caste or religion,
No empty stomach should be solely vision.

No, no I don't want to open my eyes
My beautiful city will flee from my sight.
Let me leave forever closing my eyes dear
There is darkness but I can see my dream city clear.
