Samir Farsane
Samir Farsane 1977 (Casablanca)
I closed my eyes and asked my sole
Why I'm I tried of this world
This earth is changing at every roll
The peace is fading said the bold
The greed is raiding rising tall
The weak is aching from pain and cold
No need to cry just hide your fears
The greedy is blind, won't see your tears.
The world is filled with hearts of coal
Who play pretend with mouths of gold
Don't even blame them, they lost control.
The devil offered and soles were sold.
But for the few left who held on tall.
Who said no to greed, and yes to the Lord.
I'll keep faith the good will reappear.
And a repent sole will wipe your tears.
About this poem
This poem is might seem a little sinister, but the goal from it is to wake humanity from a greed coma that let the weak, poor and helpless in a prolonged pain. If you do something kind for someone in need today, your either one of the few, or my poem would have worked.
