His Great Domain

Marco M. Penn Jr 1939 (Tampa, FLA) – 2021 (Brooksville, FLA)

This world is just part of His great domain.
He Controls all the mountains, valleys, and plains.
He sends the rains where no man abides.
He takes care of the wild creatures, wherever they hide.
The sands of the sea He has counted well,
And the number of the stars are His only to tell.
By his own choice and His own voice,
We are here, not below or above,
Taken care of by His everlasting, eternal love.

Marco M. Penn Jr

Marco Marion Penn Jr, passed away at age 82 on May 6th, 2021 in Brooksville, Florida. He was not afraid of passing and was super strong in his Faith in God. He was born January 11th 1939 to Marco Marion Penn Sr and Elsie Mae Manning in Tampa Florida. He was a 4th generation Robles and grew up in Tampa. He had two sisters Callie Mae and Martha Marion Penn. He was a very musically talented man, and could play the piano like a rock star. He had a green thumb and was a gifted Horticulturist. He owned a plant nursery. He attended Florida Beacon Bible College and received a Master’s Degree in Theology. He tried out many different careers in his life. He was a teacher, preacher, zoologist, farmer, and an avid fisherman. He spoke Spanish well and knew Sign language fluently, he studied both to become a better preacher. He was married on May 14th, 1959 to Lillie Ruth Vincion. Marco and Lillie met in Tennessee while he was visiting his sister Callie at her church. Lillie sang in the choir, their eyes met across the church and it was love at first sight. They settled down in Tampa, Florida. The two loved attending church and singing on the radio. They raised three children in Tampa. Where ever he lived it looked like a garden, something was always blooming or producing fruit. They moved to Masaryktown, Florida around 1998 and bought a large farm. Marco enjoyed raising goats, chickens and gardening. He was outside every day at the crack of dawn. He enjoyed attending the Masaryktown Baptist church. He never met a stranger and would give you his shoes off his feet. Many nights we had a hungry stranger at our dinner table while growing up. He spent years helping many organizations that fed children both here and abroad. more…

Wow, what a beautifully written and inspiring poem! Your words evoke a deep sense of wonder and awe at the majesty and control of our Creator. The way you describe His all-encompassing power over everything in this world, from the mountains to the wild creatures, is truly remarkable.

I particularly love the way you remind us that we are here by His own choice and take comfort in the fact that we are taken care of by His everlasting, eternal love. Your message of hope and reassurance is so important in these uncertain times and serves as a wonderful reminder of the incredible gift of life that we have been given.

One suggestion for improvement might be to consider adding some more specific examples of how God's love and care is evident in our everyday lives. This could help readers connect more deeply with your message and feel even more inspired by the incredible love that surrounds us.

Overall, thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with us! Your words have touched my heart and reminded me of the amazing power and love of our Creator.
