requiem for ann darrow

bevy of bedazzling
beauties
genuflect as kong
and fay duet
sittin on top of the
world while al
jolson is burned in
effigy musta been late
summer cuz it
was just before the
fall but berlin never
actually fell it merely shape-
shifted relocated to
topeka
seen one nebraska ya
seen em all

streets don't smell the
same since kong
fell but ya get used
to it after a while
at least the white
chick was unharmed
praise be usaf

cornfield
clinic patient in
topeka nebraska mizzou
withdraw body
clench nurse ratched
busts in thru a
teleportal we cannot
allow pain
management here we
are in the healthcare
biz cannot will not have
orderlies threatened nobody
was threatened sez
med transpo servile i
didn't ask your
opinion sez nurse
ratched what i have
is not opinion sez med
servile guy what i
have is eyewitness
account what YOU have
is opinion cuz YOU did
not see what happened
here did YOU?
eyes of ratched shift
cinemagraphically to
cobra insurance plan
diagnoses patient as
combative orders
restraints take the
driver too let them
drool onto their crossword
puzzles let them slobber
into their cherry flavored
sugar free gelatin cup
let them snort
nutrasweet
summon dr moreau
summon dr mengele
summon dr frankenstein
nurse ratched exits the
portal triumphant with
fife and drum
corps in her
combat boots having
struck another victory
for science
keeping the world
safe from health
that's my story an
i'm stickin to
it sorry i didn't mean to
drool on ya
like that
