Awakened

Hmm, do I dare to consider
And set my heart a twitter
By having hopes and dreams
Previously missing it seems
By my own biases and distractions
Severely limited by my reactions
And an unconscious perspective still
Befuddling and distracting my free will

Me being at effect, not cause, willingly
Unaware of the tricks I play unknowingly
A schmuck stuck in my own hell
Waiting for some brilliant external bell
To ring my chimes and set me free
And not tie me up through all eternity.

So if there is a path or road I take
Void of self doubt and painful heartache
Unlimited, joyful, prosperous and free
Optimistically flowing empowering energy
Igniting rockets and dreams desired
“Rocking my socks” greatly inspired

Able to be courageous, curious and bold
My imagination awakened, ready to unfold
Twittering, flittering sweetly, while glistening
Open to wild eyed desires and I am listening

A caterpillar released from a self imposed prison
Intentionally differentiating a choice from a decision
Living a life that works, freeing me unhesitatingly
To be an inspired, transforming, self-valued entity
Consciously nurturing my magnificence, joyfully
Trusting a Butterfly is on its way freed from inside of me!
