Memory

The rain splashes on  the window
And makes sounds of a song I once knew.
Though i can’t make out what it’s saying
It has a familiar hum.

The rain stops.
And provides drops and drips
Like it's trying to hint to me
the song I knew in another life.
Its calming but has and energetic spirit,
Like a once close friend.

Yes, that's it.
A friend.
A song.
