Giant Ogre

Hulky bulky being.
A shadow like a wing-
Of the stuffy clouds.
A silhouette against the sky!
 
Nostrils flaring and blaring
Heaving and breathing
Causing a little wavering
Of shoots, plants and bird’s wings
 
Eye single and large
Ominous and luminous marble
Glaring and scaring the creatures
Like a searchlight on thieves
 
Scalp scaly and dry
With scanty hair
Sloping and jutting
Pointing behind
 
When he trods, he shakes
The ground and the trees
Making the houses break
And children scream
 
“He is here!!!”
