All Alone
Darlene Hodges 1957 (TN)
I sit here all alone.
Remembering days that are long gone.
Picture memories I try to see.
Of the person I used to be.
My children are all grown.
Now with children and grandchildren of their own.
Loved ones have passed away.
And left me alone for another day.
I cry to hold you tight.
As I sleep alone another night.
My love for you I hold dear.
I wish you was still here.
