Light From Darkness

Weary seems out world,
Outlook is bleak.
We must find strength,
No time to be weak.
People bonding together,
With help and kindness.
Leaving far behind,
Any apathetic blindness.
Weathering the storm,
In the same boat.
Searching for calmer seas,
Barely staying afloat.
Many have drowned,
In these turbulent times.
Livelihood is gone,
Scrounging for nickels and dimes.
Will the skies clear,
And prosperity shine bright?
Let us pray it is soon,
Through the darkness is light.
