Analysis of My Despair!
Evans E Bradley 1949 (Washington, DC)
My life has been in despair, it follows me everywhere,
There is so much grief, that I cannot find relief,
No matter how hard I try
I can't lift my spirits too high,
The weight of stress each day,
keeps me from going my way,
I get on the road to nowhere to see,
If any will notice or cares for me,
But the road is lonely and traffic is light,
it only helps to reinforces my plight,
It's not right for me to feel so down,
but it seems a lonely heart just never gets found,
I must keep hope and believe what they say,
That only with faith will love come my way,
As I continue to travel down this road with care
I feel I will end up in a place that is nowhere,
When your daily routine is so much of a bore
It can hurt your heart right to the core,
Just remember that Life has never been fair,
I am told if you let it, it will lead to My Despair!
