Analysis of Where?
Where release from life's sharp sting?
When the rest from toil and pain?
Where reward that labor brings?
When the joy of earthly gain?
Questions fill the human heart
Wanting ease of earthly strife
Only one these gifts impart
Granting succor throughout life
One alone hears our complaint
One alone can feel our grief
Only God – that merciful saint
Has the pow'r to bring relief
Trust in Him to see you through
Always knowing of his plan
In His time He'll give to you
The gift of life – with Him again.

-I was having a rough day. I live with chronic paindue to herniated discs in my back and neck, and I felt like I was at the end of my rope. I turned my thoughts to Jesus, and wrote this.
