Analysis of Fourth Times a Charm
Arica R. Brazil 1991 (North Carolina)
I guess a fourth attempt
would be
How do you say
Reaching
I've dillied and dallied
With this whole life
Thing
Third time was supposed
to be the charm
Charmer
No
Still dallying
Still waiting
Still trying to hide my eagerness
Wanting it to start sometime soon
I’ve got clothes for it
Laughter for it
Stored up in my chest
Pressing against it all the while
Yelling at it in my free time
Through the window pane
Pain
As I listen to the ice machine
crack and crunch
I’m cutting back
I’ll need it for this new thing
When I’m free to do
Life
Time will tell
I'll just focus on
the clock
Tick
Tock
The fourth one
Somewhere past this
