Analysis of Watch Out, He's a Shark!

He could have been my sweetheart
Could have been a love dart
A sunny smile from the start
But oooh watch out, he's a shark!

I was sitting at my desk
The teacher said we had a test
But the guy behind me was a pest
It's sad, he could have been the best

So with a friend I was playing pool
And he came in right after school
His arrogance present but oh so cool
Until he challenged me to a duel
Why he called me a witch
And my heart quickly did switch
Now I am going to be real rich
As he waves a shovel from a ditch
He could have been my sweetheart
Could have been a love dart
A sunny smile from the start
But oooh watch out, he's a shark!
