Analysis of Victory!

The war is raging The battle not yet won.
My mind is racing, my heart is pounding,
my strength wavering, I fall to the ground.
The enemy shouts, "You are defeated, give in now!"
I look around, and can't see a thing,
darkness seems to prevail.
Then I hear the voice of the One who has never lost
a battle saying "For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you." These words
strengthen me and I rise up, and with all of my might I proclaim
"2000 years ago you were defeated on the cross
of calvalry, your might is limited,
The Lord my God is mighty to save!"
Then a mighty wind shook the ground and once
again I tumbled to the ground as a glorious
light blinded me.
Peace engulfed me as I dared to look and
found that my enemy was gone.
There in the calm my Father spoke to me and said
"Rejoice, for I have given you the victory!"
