Analysis of Vague

Hmm...So it's easy to say...
I've been lying to myself
To fool everyone else so they'll
Get off my back.
In fact...
I've know the truth all along
and I strung along...
Sad Song.
Not For Me.
Oh Well! Moving On!
And as I go...
More people too...
Surround me,
But I'm much overdue...
Is it so important?
My solitude.
When most my happiness
Now comes from you...
How vague...
Maybe untrue?
Possibly.
But I'll leave it to you.

Mercedes Stewart

I am going to school to become a Medical Assistant, but I am passionate about writing. It's an excellent way to vent. I use to believe poetry only to be the rhyming of words, but over time I have grown to learn that words put together in different ways hold more meaning than words simply meant to rhyme. Poetry is the fluid expression of different situations, places, people, etc. Just because a poem doesn't rhyme, doesn't mean it holds no meaning. more…
