Analysis of The Plea
Today,
The pain and ringing of voices
Reach into the depths of my soul
And I cry.
Tears of frustration
The life I chose is in ruin
Shattered pieces of once pale blue sky
Now down around my feet.
The yellowing, paint chipped walls
They depress me
And the sun don't shine for me
In this empty place where only darkness remains.
Nothing matters anymore
I am only in animal in this cage
And that darkness is closing in
So scared, so alone
Help me, save me, Please!
