Analysis of That Love
Jessikah Bailey 1988 (United States)
my heart does flips at the thought
or mere mention of your name.
i find you in everything i do or see
i think this is that love
that love that dreamers dream
and those soulful singers sing
even when i'm angry and sad
i still love you, your beautiful you
you can be mean, self centered,
pigheaded, emotionally unavailable,
needy, pissy, sweet, lovable, funny, happy, bubbly, smart,
everything that i hate and love.
when i don't think of you, i feel
guilty for not letting you take over
me, but i hate when you occupy my brain, you are all the things i want
and all that i will never receive...
you are you, with none of me.
