Analysis of Swimming with Dolphins

I feel like a dolphin,
Swimming through navy blue
As I stare up at the stars
and think longingly of you

I drift atop the waves,
That reflect in the skies
And dip below the surface,
For fresh ocean eyes

But just like the dolphin,
Who swims through the night
Looking to help
And be somebody's light

I'll be there for you,
For as long as the wind can roam
As it ripples up those navy blue waves,
That gently carry you home
