Analysis of Speak

Can you tell me that I'm worth it.
Can you say what's on your mind.
I see the smile you leave behind,
when we pass each other from time to time.
Every time that I see you,
I have a little hope that you'll come to me.
Maybe the time isn't right yet.
Maybe we just aren't ready yet.
To face the challenges of love.
