Analysis of Shattered Dreams

I have dreams, big dreams of high hopes, and happiness
A life to look forwards to and all the things I miss
Wealth and the looks but not for the fame
I just want someone to remember my name
Any name call me want you want it doesn't matter
'Cause in the end it's all the same

"Hey that's that one guy
Wait let me wonder to the sky
Nope, must've slipped my mind
Can't really put a name to the face
But I'm sure I knew of him someplace"

But what are dreams just somewhere where you can't reach
But please allow me to teach
This won't take long just a moment of your time
And if I could turn back the hands of the clock
Could I spare a moment of your time

My dreams break every time I touch them it seems
I have dreams, a big stack of broken dreams
