Analysis of Serenity

As I lay in the green grass
and watch the clouds go by,
I marvel at the contrast
Between pure white and deep blue sky.
My ear catches the meadowlark's song,
His clear melody thrills my heart.
I shall lay here the whole hourlong,
Hearing and seeing God's beautiful art.
The wind blows and gently kisses my face
As I lay and dream of tomorrow.
What a perfectly wonderful place!
The smell of warm earth envelopes me.
This is were I belong.
Oh, sweet serenity.
