Analysis of Recalling Board Members

Power-hungry people with deftness they invent
are often elected although incompetent.

Once seated in office they seem to be hell-bent
to meet their private needs and vows to circumvent.

Faux pas and oversights are shockingly frequent.
A flippant impudence is clearly evident.

Many are the contracts to which they give consent
that are overvalued and assets are misspent.

Before long they forget the reason they were sent
and presently neglect their own constituent.

A ground swell of fury is rising to prevent
further board abuses and mischief they present.

Recalling board members is no cause for lament.
Perfidious rebels produce voter dissent.
