Analysis of My broken heart.

My heart broke, when I found out you walked out that door.
It's like you were saying that you didn't love us anymore.
You didn't even say goodbye, my heart laid wounded on the floor.

You took our grandson away, without a goodbye kiss.
Never thinking of us, and how much we'd miss.
To have to hear from others, how you are, how could you do this?

We took you in, with only your best interest at heart.
We knew there was a chance you'd run, right from the start.
We just took a leap of faith, then you left, and our world fell apart.

We helped get you settled, we didn't think about the money.
We did it for you and your son, because we loved you guys honey.
Did you have any heart? Didn't you know we wouldn't think it was funny.

Instead of being an adult, you ran off with him and hid.
You'd think that we'd be used to it, it's what you always did.
But we trusted you, we thought you'd do what was best for your kid.

I hope you're at least happy now, and that all is well.
I didn't think you'd be miserserable, or that forever you'd dwell.
But leaving like you did, was mean, it was like telling us to go to hell.
