Analysis of Maleficent Intentions
She’s asleep and does not hear
The creaks and shuffles entering in,
Corners stand in contrast to
The figures moving ‘round.
Darkness is a bleak covering for
eyes covered and enshrouded,
Stealthily they stand in shadows,
Plotting their misdeeds.
Slowly turning from the depth
Of sleep which surrounds,
Ill attuned to her physical world,
Unlimited dream scapes soaring.
Is she alive? Did they leave?
She never heard or saw it coming,
How still she lay, statuesque
And scantily clad.
