Analysis of Karma

the light
it glints
it shines
it brightens
it warms
it fills you with joy!
your chest swells with warmth
as you cross the threshold

like a thousand speeding needles
it hits you
the bad deeds that fill your past

the time you stole
when you struck your puppy
when you framed your sister

when you stepped on that bug

all of a sudden
you are caught in a great wind
you clasp on to the gates of heaven
your feet lift and you are parallel with the ground
you can't help it

you let go

you are hurdled into new life
a new body
a second chance
