Analysis of Kaleidoscopes
My vision spoke
in black-and-white
siding with one shade
for day and for night
my iris blurred
a cloudy gray
my eyes knew of one language,
to my complete dismay
I saw everything
in the two simple shades
until I met you,
and my soul set ablaze
like an explosion,
it happened so abrupt
this burst of colour,
this endless erupt
of beams and bows
of every shade ever known
my eyes drank it in
eagerly, to the bone
I had wondered for a second
if I could stabilize the rush
of this something so beautiful
at the thought, I would blush
the world, reborn
with us, ever lusting
take it in, no worries
my eyes are adjusting;
