Analysis of Is That a Beacon Ahead or My Dead Sheep?

Here I say in twisted complexities
That which you were restrained to see
So obscure and out of sight
To my delight and fright
This light that surrounds me
Unfathomably bright and somehow aware
It is intelect, clear sighted reason
The defeat of oppression lyes within this illumination

So won’t you take my hand?
Won’t you denounce the other side of this spectrum?
Renounce the grey for what it’s worth
An unnatural pallet of morose sanity
Too far a leap?
Too great a jump?
A gamble not worth risking I see
And made evident by your expression
I am still farsighted!
