Analysis of I'm Live'n Here In Texas With My Broken Heart

You told me that you loved me down in Monterrey
When we were drink'n margaritas on a sunny day
But then you got a call and had to go away
Because you said you loved another out in San Jose

I'm set'n here a think'n that I'd rather be
Somewhere in Southern California with you hold'n me
You know I'm have'n trouble get'n over you
I don't know why I'm always hurt'n and a feel'n blue

I think I love you better since we've been apart
And I'm a live'n here in Texas with my broken heart
I'm have'n trouble sleep'n since you've been away
And I'm a miss'n all your love'n every night and day

So here I am in Texas and I'm miss'n you
And I'm a wish'n and a hope'n you would love me too
You left me for another and you had to go
The day you left my heart a break'n down in Mexico

I think I love you better since we've been apart
And I'm a live'n here in Texas with my broken heart
I'm have'n trouble sleep'n since you've been away
And I'm a miss'n all you love'n every night and day
