I have never seen forever
Although often my heart cries
I have never seen forever
It is that place where the sorrow lies
I have wandered this world
Looking for a dream
Never really realizing that
The dream was really me!
I thought if I showed how deep my love could go
There would be someone out there
Just waiting for that pot of gold!
Still,
I have never seen forever
I have dreamed about it many times
I have never seen forever
I have heard about it
In other people's lives
Will I ever see forever?
That is the question
I cannot answer
But
When I finally do see forever...
