Analysis of House Blessing

Old magnolia tall and stern
towering above shingles slightly burned
A stonewall front makes a beautiful face
with river rocks scattered and strategically placed
Peaceful pastures where horses lie
while the wild birds dance across sundrenched skies
The river runs cool in the Summer heat
as the grass and grain make the wind blow sweet
Dear Lord, please know how lucky we feel
for the blessings you've shown us in our house
on the hill
