Analysis of Hands Clinched Tight

Down on my knees with my head bowed low
Hands clinched tight and my eyes are closed
I pray to god from this hallowed land
Without a doubt knowing he'll understand
I ask for my heart to be pure and my mind to be clear
It won't be long the last day is near
So without fail from day to night
I shall feel the pain of my hands clinched tight
