Analysis of Gentle Bird - Humble Soul
Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever remains to them?
- Rose Kennedy -
A gentle bird is She.....
In her silence, whispering words to thee.
I am here to reside and decide,
not to slide but to remain as your bride.
Master for Life...! given by my most divine,
gave loving shelter, which I claimed mine.
You pampered to make me smile,
and punished to teach my soul to abide.
Neither power to revolt,
nor claim for a reward.
Neither wish to shine,
nor dream again to reign.
Though seasons came to tremble me in pain,
You never left me alone in vain.
Still.....here for you alive, though left free to fly...,
'I heartfully...proclaim you are mine and I am thine.'
