Analysis of Ferocity
A mist
creeps over
the dunes,
carrying
only the
dampness of
Rain,
and not
Rain itself.
Thirsty,
the Desert
calls the
gray shroud
by name,
summoning
what it
knows it
cannot have.
If the
Desert,
in its
dryness,
could cry
it would,
mourning
its near
death state.
Hardened
by Rain’s
own selfish
motives,
the Desert
laughs at
those who
dare its
depths.
