Analysis of Blind.

With every holiday that goes by, we think of you,
but your name's never spoken. We all want to say your name,
But our wounds are still fresh, raw, and open.

How many years does it have to take?
For our souls to repair from the quake .
It's been years now, since you left us behind.
How did you think that we wouldn't mind?

It's a constant replay in our head.
We wonder what we could have done
differently, what we could have said.

How I wish you were here instead.
It's so hard to face that you are dead.
The loss we feel is just immense.
It just didn't to us, make any sense.

You were the youngest, happiness
is what you should have found.
Instead you were chained,
to your demons you were bound.

I hate the things that you have been through.
That caused you to think, that was all you could do.
We are forever, stuck in that day.
Wondering what we did or didn't do,
To make you not want to stay.

God, the pain feels just as real.
I hate when people say, just find a way to deal.
I know that we will see you again.
It's just so hard to wait until then.

I love you now, like I always did.
You were so blind, my love for you was never hid.
