Analysis of Blind By Default

A withered memory dies
As hope looses itself once more
And as talented as you are
With your stars and galaxies
I cannot hold on much longer
Gripped with crazy delirium
Wanting more than this flyer
That crosses my pathway periodically
Blowing in the breeze
Throwing me randomized thoughts
That will only turn to dust
I cry out in anguish - please no
Stay with me - take my hand
But.. It seems a withered dream
Is it’s only a hologram
That touches briefly the core
Of my absolute existence
Then shatters confidence
With sledge hammer grace
Blind by default
My mind screams go get
as my heart sits
cowering in the corner
Confusion sets in
just for the hell of it
Nothing left to do but cry!
