Analysis of Apology to 'Brian Mayo' (Cheesy)
Sometimes in life we must swallow our pride
admit that we were wrong
this is one of those times.
I jumped to conclusions
making false accusations
I'm sorry for what I've done.
If only I'd gave you chance to explain
to defend your honour and your good name
for now I bow my head in shame.
I can't undo what was done
if only I could I most certainly would
I'm sorry I was wrong.
Your talent is undeniable
I'm so sorry I caused you distress
and I'm sorry I made your page such a mess.
You say that I'm forgiven
but I'll never forgive myself
I only wish I'd zipped my big mouth.
