Analysis of A world full of violence.
We live in a world so full of violence.
And yet we're forced to keep our silence.
So many people go through such tragic things.
Pain, guilt, and loneliness, a few of the feelings it brings.
It doesn't matter what kind of abuse we go through.
It frightens us to the point, where we don't know what to do.
We don't know what to do, or who to even trust anymore.
Because chances are good, it was our loved one that threw us to the floor.
They say that they love us, and we forgive them yet again.
But in the back of our minds, we know it's just a matter of when.
They swear they're sorry, this time will be the last.
In our minds we want to believe them, and forget about the past.
We think that we are nothing, so we don't fight when we should.
That and the fact that we're afraid, that it wouldn't do any good.
It'd just make things even worse, then what would we do?
Try to reach out and tell somebody all the things we've been through?
That would require a giant leap, finding somebody we trust.
We know it's for our own good, it really is a must.
Yet we let the fear come in.
We can't see where to begin.
We are broken inside.
We just want to hide.
We hate ourselves for being so weak.
But we still sit there quiet, we're too afraid to speak.
It's only us that did something wrong.
When you have no self esteem, it's hard to be strong.
God please help us to break these chains that we wear.
And let us realize, that there are others that care.
Help us speak up, help us use our voice.
For if we don't do it soon, we will have no choice.
Help give us the strength, to find the help we need.
Help us to realize, it has nothing to do with greed.
It's for our own safety and for our families.
So let's get some help, I'm begging you please!
