Analysis of a love not forgotten

Her name was music to my ears,

Losing her was my only true fear.

The love in the touch of her hand,

Could cripple the strongest of men.

Hazel eyes and a few freckles on your nose,

My favorite color red always painted on her toes.

A body of a goddess with looks that could kill,

Tasting her kiss brought the warmest of chills.

The biggest heart of gold she cared for all,

When with her everything else seemed so small.

Happiness, laughter and love filled the air,

She was the one answer to all my prayers.

I have carried her in my heart for over 30 years,

Then the phone rang answering it was my worst fear.

A story of life, hope, love and my foolish pride,

Came to an end by the news of her suicide.

Now people say you will find love again,

But it will never be like holding her hand.

Jessica when this world you did part,

You left the biggest whole in my heart.
