Analysis of A chance of sun
There is a chance
of sunlight
on your face
that far outshines
the moon and the stars.
You keep your lantern
lit. And, like a moth
drawn to your flame, I encircle
the wick of each flickering smile.
The chance
of your sunlight
is the redemption
that I await. I bask
in your radiance.
I dance to the beat
of your sun-filled days;
and I welcome
your moon-glow nights
wrapped in
the soft fluid luster
of your warm sunny glow.
