Analysis of A Love Note

I can not ask for promises, for they belong to the future.  I can tell you only this...if your body is not desperate for my arms to hold you...then I will plan to search my possibilities of survival with dignity first.  In the meantime, I must believe that you will keep my spirit alive searching for my smile in the middle of the night when the stars will wink at you, for me.
